itunes won't burn playlist

I've been searching the web trying to find answer to this but so far came up with nothing. I had itunes on my pc for while use it a few times to burn my playlists and today I try to burn a playlist it came up saying disc recorder not found. Before that when I open itunes to run it say "the registry setting from itunes for burning and importing CD and DVD are missing this can happen as a result of installing another CD burner software.
