Same here - got an iPad2 recently (with 20 plus years Windows behind me <sigh>), opened the store, downloaded "iTunes U" (because I am working in education), played with it, didn't like it, uninstalled it, decided to go buy a movie from iTunes, and I get either "can not connect" (erratic) or a blank screen with three options at the bottom - "Podcasts", "iTunes U" and "Downloads". I guess I must have looked at "Podcasts" at some stage. They give me:
- "Podcasts" brings up podcasts
- "iTunes U" brings up the go-to-the-store-and-look-at-it-to-download-it screen
- "Downloads" gives me a "iTunes Store Terms and Conditions" link but nothing else. No buttons, options, whatever
The last is my problem (although I would like to get rid of the first two). What the heck do I have to do to spend my money on films and music?
Is there anyone out there who can point me at an authoritative, comprehensive explanation how this frikking application (and I am talking about "iTunes" native, not "U") is supposed to work on the iPad2?
