I think that mouse keys is turned on, however I am logged out and cannot type my password in to log in and change this setting. What should I do??

I don't know if Mouse Keys would be active at login even if 'on'; or, if so, whether it can be turned 'off'.
However, there is a keyboard command which, if active, will toggle Mouse Keys on and off. To try that, press the Option key five times in a row.
Hm, nothing seems to happen when I do that. Gradually some keys are coming back to life, perhaps it's a different issue.
