Ipod Nano 4G "Stuck on its apple logo"

Hi

I also have the same problem

I dont know if its because of the latest software upgrade that i made with my nano or what

I already tried everything to fix my 4G but its still none of those works to make my nano back

I tried to run it on "Disk mode"

My PC detected the nano disk and Itunes detected the ipod

And then when i got it connected on itunes, an error eppears that i need to restore my nano

and then when i did the restoration my nano restarts and then stucks on its apple logo

I can only sync anything on itunes when on disk mode but i cant run my nano on normal mode

for me to use it

iPod nano, Windows 7

Perhaps you can try a low level reformat of the Nano's flash storage using the tools provided by Windows. See this article for instructions.

I only see same instructions that doesnt work on my ipod,. I dont see the link for tools you mentioned,.

If only that sentence made sense... What do you mean they don't work? Need a bit more detail there. What happened when you right->clicked on your iPod under My Computer (or Computer), selected Properties, and clicked on the Format button?

I mean i actually did those instructions before untill restoring my ipod on itunes

But when it reboots, it still stucks on apple logo

Aha! Thanks for the quick feedback. 🙂 What happened when you tried to reformat it? Did you choose FAT32 as the file system type?

Yup,. I even try to download its firmware but still doesnt work

I can really work it on disk mode

I wish that i can still have a chance to recover this while i can work it on disk mode

Not yet,.

But i will try it

I also tried ipod touch restore on the same laptop and it works really fine

It wont also work if there has a problem with my laptop right?

What do you think?

I'll be informing you again if restoration on other pc works for my nano
