PowerPoint 2011 for Mac has Stopped Pasting Images, Only Website Address

Hello Everyone,

I have a new MacBook pro, Mac OS X, Version 10.7.3, purchased in January of this year. Randomly today the "paste" function has stopped working on PowerPoint 2011. When I copy an image from the internet and click "paste" on PowerPoint, it only pastes the website address. The image will paste on Word, though. I don't know what happened because the paste function was working fine until today and I do not recall changing anything that would have had this effect. Does anyone have any ideas? I would appreciate the help.

I suggest you post your question on Microsoft's own forums for their Mac products as it's their software you're having issues with:

I have posted under their forums as well with no luck yet. But just out of curiosity, I checked how it's working under a "test" user account on my computer and it's working fine. I could be wrong, but doesn't that make it a Mac problem and not a PowerPoint/Microsoft problem?

Nah - I think it's more a PowerPoint directory problem in your user folder. I've been having some problems with PowerPoint since the last update. It's best to take your queston to the Microsoft forums - there are Mac users there!
