Hi
Just a thought - Did You turn on "Advance tools" in iMovie preferences ?
Else - others must come in and help - I'm lost to FinalCut Pro (6)

Hey,
If you double-click on the clip that you want to speed up or slow down, it will open up that clip in the inspector. Then you will see the word "speed" You can then slow down the clip or speed it up however you like.
On my imovie the word speed does not show. This is with some different formats of movie
What are the formats of movie? Have you added them into your project? You need to do that before you can change the speed of the clip.
thanks, problems solved
Thanks, I will play with this and see what I can do.
How did you get this to work, David? I don't see anything about Speed in the video inspector. Presumably, this has something to do with the format, so can the format be changed somehow?
