Finder locking up on certain JPG files

I went to back up (Clone Carbon Copy - CCC) and I got an alert saying a file had an issue. This is the first time this has happened after years of using CCC.

So, I went to that file and finder freezes up. I went to bridge and the preview sees it fine, but when I try to open it Bridge freezes and quits.

If this was one image I could live with it, but it's several that I know of, but I fear there are more.

It seems to be isolated to one folder.

I've done disk repair, repair permissions, on the external HD and the Internal HD. The issues are all on the external. I have mirrored backups and the same issue is on each drive. Odd!
