I am seeking a special effect that may not be in iMovie 11. It is the "rain" effect, or, what look like scratches in old movie footage. I believe that iMovie 8 had this, but the latest versions deleted this.
Do any of you know of a plug-in for doing this, or, if I can "back-install" to iMovie 8 to get what I need? Thanks to everyone.

These are good up to a point, but, I was more thinking of the vertical scratches and flaws one sees when an old movie is run. I am led to understand this existed in older versions of iMovie. I appreciate your help, by the way, and I thank you.

iMovie 11' actually has two effects that can be used. One is the "aged film" and the other is "film grain". Both of these will give you the old film look.
