Do I need to run Time Machine if I have Time Capsule
I find that Time Machine slows me down. It runs a few times a day- maybe because I'm always stopping it. Do I need to do this? If not, how do I stop it from running. Thanks

Well...considering TM works in conjunction with TC...backing up files to your TC, I'd say you need it.
If you'd rather be sorry than safe, and not keep regular backups of your files, then turn TM off.
Thanks. I didn't realize one needed the other- I thought TC replaced TM. I'll look at the scheduling and try to get it to run at night rather than in the middle of my workday. Much appreciated.
