Hi I have Pages installed on my iPad and when I look on purchased app it showed as installed on iPad and iPhone. However on my iPhone it doesn't appear as an option to install. Do I have to purchase pages again?

You won't have to buy it again. Make sure both devices are signed into the same apple id. If you have lots of apps already on your phone, there is a small chance that you are just missing it. You might wan't to do a search for page (swipe to the far left page).
You may have to rebuy the iPhone version. iPad apps wont run on the iPhone. iPhone apps will run on the iPad though.
Pages is a universal app. It works on both the iphone and ipad. You only need to buy it once.
If you don't have automatic download of apps turned on (and only when connected to Wi-Fi) it will not appear on your iPhone automatically. When you go to download or "purchase" Pages on your iPhone, it will say this was already purchased and begin to download, assuming you are using the same Apple ID for both.
