I want to purchase a photo editing app, and don't feel like picking up both. I plan on using them on both iPad and iPhone. Comparisons, recommendations, and constructive comments to aid my purchasing decision are welcome. Thank you in advance.
Look into photopad. I have snapseed and really dont like it. It does have some cool filters and things, but you can't even rotate a pic with it. Photopad is free and has filters, cropping, rotation and other tools.
It's possible that it'll do what you need and you won't have to buy anything.
Snapseed is EXCELLENT! Not sure if the above comment is referring to an older version but I'm a photographer using the iPad for speed edits on location and I use snapseed with fantastic results. I usually work with Aperture on my computer and love the Niksoft plug ins... Go figure snapseed is made by Niksoft which sold me right away.
The only problem I'm having is trying to keep these edits organized with my file system in Aperture.
