security question

Do you have an alternate email account set up? If so, go to iforgot.apple.com and reset from there

Not sure if I am understanding what to do

Go to applied.apple.com

manage your account > sign in > Password & security > Send reset security email> Change your question. I have attached an image for help. Hope this helps

I tried doing that but the "Send Reset Securtiy Info" button isn't there anymore.

same problem here, the reset security option is not there!!!

Apple workers are looking for a solution to this, they tell me, but I asked them back when I first posted on this discussion. They're keeping up with me, but they have yet to find an answer. Ask them this question yourself and if it takes long, like me, then atleast you'll get free songs or videos out of it.

thanks for sharing the info.....so nothing we can do here? all my credit in the account go wasted?? We talking about the most advance IT company here, and they can't f**king reset a security question using emails???

That's exactly how I feel. You can purchase things on a device or laptop that you have previously used, just not new ones that require the passwords.

I have d same here.. Purchased a new ipad3 in singapore but cant purchase at itunes because of this "new" device. Reset button is not there anymore..

Well, I try to buy games, and always ask me about password, and type my password and after that they ask me about security question, so I don't remember the answers, so can't buy

Any update about this issue? I just bought an iPad mini, Im an Apple lover, I have the iphone and the MacBook but now I wanna buy apps from my iPad but since I dont remember my security questions (answers) I just cant do it. In other forums they say theres an option in Manage Account, but as you all can see its not even available, you go there but the option doesnt show.

What am I supposed to do?

Same problem. There seems to be no way to change your security questions even though my iTunes account is so old that I never had them in the past. Now I can't get my new iPhone5 to update things that were on the old iPhone4.

I have tried this, and verified my rescue email. When I log onto my Apple ID account, there is no option below to reset security questions. Now I have changed my password because that is what the FAQs say to do, even though I preferred my old 6 digit numerical password, and now they have to be 8 characters with a mix of numeric and upper & lower case alpha. When I tried to call Apple Support, I get a message they are closed for the holidays. Another reason why Apple s****!!!!

here's my quandry. I forgot my security questions and when i choose reset security questions, there is an email that has never been setup. it says

Send reset security info email to r•••••@example.com

what do i do now?
