wanted a telegraph app for the uk telegraph but got telegraph app for australia... dont want to subscribe but have got app icon.
how do I get rid of the unwanted app and icon

Lean on the icon until all the icons wiggle, then tap the X in the top left corner.

Your post is not clear! However, and further to tone fox above, if you have already paid money then go to iTunes, Account Information, Purchase History, and click on Report a Problem and take it from there!
no i have not paid but the basic download produced an ico which i want to remove!!
