Why are my imessages being sent and recieved by my email and not my phone number.
Under settings/messages /received at... is my email and first selection my phone # has a error next to it ??

Found answer ...simply turn messages off manually for a few minutes and turn back on .

Thank you this solved my problem too, which the Verizon store could not even try to help me with and referred me to call Apples 1-800 #, and although the lady was super helpful she said she would call me back after looking at articles on the issue and in 2 seconds I googled the problem and came across your post, tried it and PROBLEM SOLVED!! thank you!!
