It says that it can't be deleted.
I got this problem when I was downloading a photo with google chrome, but that photo was downloaded succesfully. Downloads window in chrome is now empty.
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Have you tried restarting the computer? Perhaps something is still holding that file open erroneously. Restarting will fix that.
If that doesn't help, it may be a permissions issue. Select the file and choose File -> Get Info, then look at the permissions info at the bottom of the window. Do you have read & write permissions?
Have you ever considered proofreading and correcting your posts so they make sense?
out in safe mode holding shift when u press the turn on bottern and let go whena ba comes adn it wil take long to start and turn off in safe mode than usuaal
Where do you see this .crdownload file? And what happens when you try to delete it?

I don't understand you. Do you mean I have to delete it holding shift button? but what does it change? I only tried holding option button
It's on the desktop. I've got a pop-up window saying it can't be moved to trash because it can't be deleted
Oh, I haven't thought of that!! I'm stupid, I tried closing all applications, but didn't restart the computer...I usually do it once in two months

I can't delete, rename, move (or do anything else with) file with extension .crdownload. What should I do?
