Find my iPhone email notification on sent message: wrong time/timezone

I tried the "send message to iPhone" feature, available in "Find my iPhone" in icloud.com. I sent a message and it was displayed on my iPhone screen at first time I got a call. I also received an email notification of "message displayed" (I am translating from italian, maybe in english Apple uses another sentence).

Email notification reported that "message .... was displayed at 8.59" but the right time was 17.59. I checked also the local time settings in my icloud profile, which is correctly set to Italy (check Re: Finds iPhone but time is wrong.)

Maybe it is a icloud.com notification system bug? Anyone has got the same problem?

Exactly. I'm an application specialist who works on both platforms (pc & mac). I'm here to tell you apple needs to fix it on their end as the time stamp feature is off only on web icloud aka the old mobile me.

This has been going on for a week now. I have an iphone and two macs at home and they're all the correct time zone. However, everywhere I log in to icloud the time are stamp hours earlier. Example I'm Eastern Time and an email that came in on my iphone (mapped to icloud account) shows as being received at 12:45 pm, but the web icloud is showing 9:45 am.

So my question is when is Apple going to fix this problem? Steve Jobs would not have let this happen for this long. If you google, you will see that other people starting having this problem in January. Me, it started when there was a glitch recently and no one could log into their email. They obviously rebooted a server, but this was the end affect.

hi my macbookpro laptop was stolen last week, there was icloud logged in on it. I remote lock it from my pc on the same day. today morning i got a message on my mail that "your macpro has been locked at 11:30pm on august 21-2012 with the following message "xxxxxxxxx"". (the message was my email address).

Is there any chance to know from where this mac has been logged in, like any ip address from where i got this message from, or on which IP they logged in.

I hope somebody connected this to a wired network with internet connectivity...but now on icloud my macbook is showing offline

Please reply if we can find the IP with that email which i receive.

Almost 2 years later and it's still an issue...I just did a test because my mbp 15 was recently stolen from me and I am constantly checking the find my iphone app. I received an email after playing a sound on one of my other devices via the icloud.com and it gave me a 3 hour difference time stamp. So of course, now I'm very disappointed this hasn't been resolved. But really...two years?
