Hi everyone,
So I have just bought my friend's old iPhone but unfortunately it's still on her account. I would erase all data but the phone is unlocked and I'm scared this will lock it again.
Is there any other way I can get my data onto it?
Also, my iPod touch is not now syncing to my computer...how did I fix this?

If you have reason to believe that the phone is illegitimately unlocked, or jailbroken, then you need to talk to your friend about it. If that is the case, you can't get help here. If it was illegitimately unlocked, attempting to update or restore the phone will cause it to re-lock to the original carrier (at best) or brick the phone entirely (at worst).
If it's jailbroken or illegitimately unlocked, your best bet is to try and get your money back.
If the phone is legitimately unlocked/factory unlocked, should it have worked? Thanks.
