Q: Format and Install using an external display on PBG4

Hi all,

Here my PowerBook details:

PowerBook G4 15" - PowerBook5,4 - PowerPC G4  (1.1) - 1 - 1.33 GHz - 512 Ko - 1.25 Go - 167 MHz - 4.8.6f0

Since few weeks my screen is very very dark - seems to be a problem on inverter or a bad contact - I'm using a secondary display, I set it up as "main" dsiplay in the pref.syt.

Today I need to format and install my system OsX 10.4.11 from the CD.

When I reboot from the CD, the syst.doesn't detect the secondary display as the "main" 5the main display is very very dark!

Is it possible to set up or to "force" the syst.on the CD to detect the external display and to use it as a "main" display?
