itunes wont work on my ibook G4

My mom just gave me this iBook G4 and I have never owned an apple product before, i did all the system updates but my itunes says it needs quicktime 7.5.5 or something to work, every time i try to update it it tells me use system update. but it says its up to date. I also tried to unistall it and re install it manually but the only one i can download is some stupid leopard thing and thats not even the right operating system. so ya stupid little circle anyone have a easy way to fix this?
