Yes, I know the target of that app, create DVDs but I have a question. Is possible to export that project in another format not only in .img? I would like to use that presentation on my cloud. The DVD is an old technology. But iDVD is a great application such like iWeb. Or suing the iDVD templates on iMovie?

Not entirely sure what you mean. If you want to put the video online you can compress it to h264.
