How good is Apple at giving replacements after warranty has expired?

If it's out of warranty, then you'll probably have to pay for service, like you would for anything else.

You have a few options though, you can take it to a Genius or set up out of warranty service online.

They are as good as any other company once your warraty has expired. You have no warranty. What are you asking? They will sell you a replacement phone for the regular out of warranty price, as long as your phone meets the requirements.

Depends on your location. If your city has Apple store it's good.

But if you're living in a country which sold Apple products through telecommunication provider like my country (Indonesia) i'd say highly unlikely that you'll get a new replacement easily.
