Once you get the screen alive, with one of this sign,
leave it charging for at least 2 hours, or preferably 4 hours.
Have a nice day!

May 17, 2012 9:07 PM in response to Bilbo_cheshireby MarisaLedesma875,It's been charging on a regular wall plug for 1 hr already and nothing has changed. I will keep it plugged in, but I really dont think that's the problem. I had a full battery all day and was playing it in the car this afternoon. It was fine until I got home tonight around 6:00 pm EST. But again I will keep it plugged in all night on the wall charger all night.

- Try another USB cable, or another USB port for another 30 minutes.
- Look at the bottom Dock connector, and ensure that there is no dirt or any foreign particles.
If both doesn't help, then unfortunately, you have to bring it in to Apple Store, for the Genius to have a look for water damage. ( a sure sign is blank screen, even when connected for charging)
