How do I delete iCloud account and start over?

Unknown to me, my daughter started iCloud on her iPhone and it deleted all my contacts from my MacBook. Then I started a secondary account by migrating my MobileMe account to iCloud. So now I need to delete the account that she started and make my MobileMe the primary account. Or delete them both and start over.

I have been using Mac devices for 15 years, and this iCloud is the most confusing and thoroughly ill-conceived software that Apple has ever produced.

MacBook (13-inch), Mac OS X (10.7.4)

I'm not really sure what is all that confusing about it. If you have logged into both accounts on your devices, log out of them both. You can log out of your primary account at system preferences > iCloud > sign out. You can log out of any secondary account you are logged into from system preferences > mail, contacts and calendars.

Once you have logged out of all accounts, log back into your account of choice using system preferences > iCloud.
