Hey guys simple fix actually....

I take it you guys also discovered that you can also not look up things on iTunes.

How to fix:

1) Just turn your device off and then back on again helps reset the plist that may have gotten jumbled at some point.

**if the above doesn't work try method 2**

2) Do a hard reset

— Press sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time for about 15 seconds or until you see the apple logo

— Once the Apple logo appears release both buttons!

.... if niether of these solutions worked for you make sure that:

— You have the latest iOS (5.1.1)

— Your wifi connection is strong or have good coverage.

— Lastly just make sure you have your wifi and 3g turned on haha

Hope this helped!

The restarts / reboots all failed. I actually have a redirection blocking script at my router that will halt redirection processes. And it works very well, with everything but the iPad 2 YouTube app. If I access YouTube through Chrome, Safari or iCab Mobile, YouTube works fine. If I disable the script, iOS YouTube app works fine, as does everything else. If I re-enable script everything works fine except iOS YouTube app. My guess is that the iOS app has been updated to a point that it stops functioning if certain ad blocking measures are implemented on you LAN, at the router/firewall level. For now I'm just going to do without iOS's YouTube app and use other alternatives. My ad blocking works too well to subvert it.
