Tracking spy programs
Hi, how can I be sure there is no hidden tracking programs relaying my locations to someone on my 4s?

There is no true way to be 100% certain, but you can go to Settings>Location Services and turn it off.

your GPS signal icon will be active in the top right. If you dont see that then you are fine. You can always use a tinfoil hat in the mean time...
Those softwares are desogned to be stealthy and there's no option for us to know if there's one installed. I would restore it to factory default and never take my site off the phone in the future.

Not necessarily. Settings > Location Services > System Services > Status Bar Icon > Off. Make sure it's on, but the spy code can easily defeat the icon independent of the switch. Time for a bigger tinfoil hat...
If your phone isn't jailbroken, then there are no "hidden tracking programs" doing anything. If it is, then we can't help you.
Yeah I've reset to default but the latest software (ios5.1.1) was still installed, so there is no guarantee that any spy program is gone. Guess it Is time for a new phone and tinfoil hat!! Lol. Keeping a lock code on my phones from now on, never know what people can or will do with a phone for a day!!
And yes, I've looked a little into this kind of program, they are stealthy and can transfer lots of your info as you receive it!!
Most people are unintelligent when it comes to "smart" phones these days. They just know how to play their Snake and make calls and text. I doubt you need to worry too much about it.
