iMovie 11 Invalid username or password

whenever sharing video through iMovie to youtube (not sure if this issue happens with other video uploads) I kept getting the invalid username or password whenever I put in my my youtube login I was using my gmail associated with my youtube account and the password as well as trying the username all tho my credintials were correct. I found that after changing my password to something that only contained letters and numbers, no spaces or special chargacters my login would then work. I am wondering if apple will fix this anytime soon because I like to keep my password secure by having special characters in it and this doesnt really work well when trying to upload from imovie to youtube.
