my iphone 3G keeps saying i do not have a data plan, even though i get unlimited data on my contract (which worked fine on my blackberry). i thought maybe its my contract that isnt working right but it hardly ever connects to my wi-fi either....help? heres my email adress if anyone has help, or comment here(first question so not sure how it works) - france.xd@hotmail.com thank you, any advice is appreciated!

Contact your carrier to be sure you data plan is correctly provisioned for your iPhone.
thank you i will asap. do you have any idea as to why it wont connect to my wi-fi properly? 90% of the time it doesnt even pick up the wi-fi
Could be a number of things. Assuming that the problem is just with your wi-fi, and it works with other wi-fi networks, start by power-cycling your wireless router (unplug for 30 seconds, the plug back in). If that fails, next thing I would do is see if there is a firware update available for your router. It may also be a problem with your wireless router settings, such as your security setting; the preferred setting is WPA2 Personal (AES).
