Why can't I play music on my ipod touch if I am not connected to the internet?

Where is the music located?
Are you using iTunes Match and streaming it?
Are you using a streaming app?
I used the i Tunes Match and added song lists. It is stored on both my computer and my library. Do I also need to include it in the file on my iPod that says iPod touch? Hope this makes sense
You need to download the Match music to your iPod. You can listen to the music while it is downloaded.
