how do I get the iCloud icon onto the desktop of my ipad?

There is no iCloud icon apart from the one in Settings.

You access your iCloud data through the various apps - Mail, Calendar, Contacts etc.

I Am trying to do the same. Its annoying having to go through different parts to get to it. Google drive etc all have icons that can go directly on the desktop to access quickly. Perhaps this is something that needs to be addressed.
