supports my macbook pro from 2010 64 bit?

Hey guys,

can someone help me with this question?

It's listed in my system profile, that I don't have 64 bit Kernel and extensions. But a friend of mine told me he has, and he got the same mac from 2010.

So I'm a bit confused about that.

And though the system profile tell me that I don't have 64bit - some programs are listed with 64bit. So is my Mac able to install and execute 64bit programs??

I hope you understand what I tried to explain and have some advice for me.

Kind regards,

Juli

yes it can run 64-bit apps. If you update your mac to Lion it will boot into 64-bit right away
