Aperture 3.23 and iCloud

A few separate questions really. I have Aperture blazing on SL with help from the community.

I am thinking of upgrading to Lion. Will this be seemless...will I be happy with Apertures proformance on Lion? I have read many concerns and am wondering if I should do the upgrade.

I would like to use an iPad as my back-up while travelling. If I do the upgrade to Lion, Can I use iCloud to sync with my library at home using an app?

After backing everything up, I took the plunge. No hitches...smooth sailing all the way. Aperture as fast as ever.
