The apps on my iPad are nt working. What do I do?

Download a free app from the App Store. Once it downloads, your other apps should work properly again.
If it truly is ALL apps (including the preinstalled apps) that will not open, try a reset and see if that helps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If only the third party apps will not work, then Meg's advice should work.
