Universal Binary

Does any one have a definate answer on when Final Cut Express will be a Universal Binary, and how much it will cost?

PBG4/100GB/1.67/etc.--Mac mini/1.66 Core Duo/1GB/100GB, Mac OS X (10.4.3)

No. I think if someone did relay that info they might be in some sorta trouble.
Best I've heard is soonish.

From the FCE website:

"The next feature release of Final Cut Express will be a Universal application, which will run on both PowerPC- and Intel-based Mac computers."

So, not only will you have to pony up $99 to upgrade (if you are a current user), but you'll have to wait god-knows-how-long until it actually is released.

Come on Apple, if you are going to make us buy a full ugprade, at least give us a window of expectation. Q3 2006? Q4 2006? Q1 2007?
