Q: help! my macbook wont start up

my macbook was fine yesterday but suddenly the screen showed a message saying you need to restart you macbook so i did and when i turned it on my home screen did something very strang it started to do that thing that a tv does when the recievers not good or what a dvd does when its dirty then it turned off and i tried turning it on a the battery show 4 green lights (my batteries not that good ive had it for 3 years so it has to be plugged in 24/7)  then i try turning it on a it makes this loud beeping noise (bBEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEP ) a couple times, pleaase help me i have a finals essay to write

    When a system goes beep beep beep that means there is a memory hardware issue. You can try reseating the memory to see if that helps. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1651.

     

    If reseating the memory does change the beep beep beep, if you have 2 memory cards, try swapping them, then try one at a time. If you know anyone else with a working MacBook, try their memory (make sure it's the same type as yours, however).  If none of that works, then you'll need to bring your MacBook to an Apple store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for further diagnosis.

     

    If your system isn't working, you could remove the hard drive (assuming there is final essay research material on it), and put it into an external case to be accessed by another mac.
