How can I delete "others" on my HD memory?

my memory HD is full, how can I find "others" on my HD memory to liberate some space, its about 316GB from my HD?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), iOS 5

Is the "others" on your Mac or an iOS 5 device like an iPad?
