Q: is the great "apple" unable to allow ipad3 owners to decide which photos to keep and which ones to delete...really???

pleae tell me Apple is diligently working on resolving the problems associated with the seemingly simple notion of allowing users to delete "our" photos in some software upgrade.....

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 5.1.1

Welcome to the Apple community.

I think you will find, (if you care to check properly) that the latest software allows you to delete photos selectively from your photos stream album.
