Right Size Colums by default?

Nope. Many users have been waiting for this feature for a very long time.

The best you can do is to double click the column resizer while holding the alt key - that will resize all the open columns to fit the filenames. As soon as you browse to another folder though, all is forgotten.

If you hold the Option key down when you drag the column to resize it, it will remember the setting for all columns.
