May 20, 2012 1:14 PM in response to gail510by W1$C,Are you using "autoplay"? Is it enabled? How is it not working? Does it fail to complete, do you get a error message? have you tried Start> computer> right click on the iPhone than Import from there? It would be easier to give further instruction if we knew exactly what is "failing"

May 20, 2012 1:20 PM in response to W1$Cby gail510,Autoplay is not enabled that I know of as I have never once seen it and do not know where it would even reside.
When I go to start>computer, there is no iPhone (and yes, it's plugged into the PC with the correct cable in the correct port). I have unplugged and replugged the iPhone several times. When I plug my iPhone into my PC, iTunes pops up. Great, but I need to download photos to my PC. And the Apple instructions do not work. Bizarre.

This will instruct you of where you need to go to enable auto-play. And windows should recognize your iphone if it is showing up in iTunes because iTunes wouldn't open unless the computer did! Either way, that is how you can enable auto-play and you will be able to import via auto-play.

Mar 15, 2013 7:18 AM in response to gail510by Lexiepex,You can stream the photos to the PC, or even easier, use a program that sees the iPhone as an external disk(programs like the Windows Explorer): there are several: Diskaid, iExplorer, and so on.

If you want to transfer your iPhone photos to itunes, you should prevent all your iPhone data will be sync.
Because if you use itunes to transfer data to transfer data to your iPhone which is not synced with this itunes library, all the data on this iPhone will be erased.

Nov 29, 2013 12:57 AM in response to gail510by Istaonllly,Well I remember seeing a youtube video saying that it’s because itunes blocked some data when you sync your apple products, so you may try to change some settings to make them unhidden. Unfortunately I don’t have that video right now. but you can google your question “how to transfer photos from iphone to pc” to find that video. Oh and remember to choose "video" tab on the left side to screen the search results, it will help a lot to find the more exact answers.

Dec 27, 2013 1:38 AM in response to gail510by Senmindeyi,You can try to use some tools to help you if you want to download/move photos from iPhone to computer, sometimes iTunes is not so easy to use, so many of my friends choose to use iPubsoft iPad iPhone iPod to Computer Transfer, although it will cost a little!
