Mysterious NON-BROWSER popup ad

Can anyone explain the little popup Disk Doctor ad here (I linked to a picture)? To clarify, I started my MacBook up from completely shut down. It automatically connected to my home WiFi, but I had not opened any browser or any other program. I first did a spotlight search for Disk Doctor, then checked in the Activity Monitor to see if I could find something that explained it. I have NEVER downloaded Disk Doctor or any version or trial of it. I came to another computer and tried to find some mention of something like this online, but no luck. I then turned off the WiFi on my MacBook and put it to sleep, until I get this figured out. The window behind that popup is just an empty window I used to hide my desktop files in the photo, but the popup floats above everything else. Other than opening Activity Monitor, and then Paint to make that blank window, I didn't open any other programs.

I really want to know what the **** this is, and what is putting popup ads onto my desktop when I have opened no programs and particularly no web browsers.

Thanks

To close this problem completly I send mail (with link to this discussion) to FIPLAB and that is what they said:

Amelia Matthews replied:

Hi Alex,

Our free apps show one ad per month, which can be permanently removed for $1 to $2 dollars depending on the app in question.

There was a bug recently whereby the Disk Doctor ad was appearing for apps other than just Battery Health. Normally, if you are using an app such as MailTab for Gmail, the once a month ad will appear informing the user that they can upgrade to MailTab Pro for Gmail. (i.e. the ad is relevant to the app the user is using, and offers them the option to get the 'Pro' version of the same app).

We have now corrected this issue so that the Disk Doctor ad only appears for Battery Health users.

Please let us know if you experience any further issues and thank you for contacting us.

So now I am almost 100% sure that the problem caused by FIPLAB apps.
