Q: my ipad2 is supposed to be 3G but i cannot get it, it says no sim, help

my ipad is an ipad2 wi-fi 3G but i cannot access 3G, i get a messdage saying no sim...help please

iPads require a SIM card to be inserted in the tray before they can access 3G data. You need to manually pop the tray open, using the supplied tool or a paper clip and then insert a compatible micro-SIM. You will need a data plan from a 3G carrier for it to work.
Tray locations

You can get SIMs as a part of the purchase process from Apple, or you can source your own from your choice of carrier.
