How do I change my rescue email associted with my account. I would like this to be the main email account associated with my itunes account, but I cannot becasue it says it's already being used as my rescue email address.

Sign in to appleid.apple.com then answer the security questions the system will ask you. If the answers you'll give are correct, you should be directed to the page where you have the option to change the questions and the rescue email as well.

What if i forgot my security answers as well? and i cant get to the screen where im able to change all that info. do i need to call Apple?
i forgot my security question answers so it was said that they would be sent to my rescue email but i dont know my rescue email..help?
Rescue Email is not listed for me and I just get the message in red that the email that I want to use as Primary is the same as my Rescue Email.
I dont know either either and i cant buy anything now! Help!
I have managed to change my Primary email so that it is not the same as my Rescue Email. It took some time, so don't expect it to be a five-minute job. I had two email addresses, so could not just change the Primary because it then became the same as my Rescue. I was in a position to re-activate an old Yahoo! email address; you can create one of those for yourself, or presumably Hotmail or similar. Then juggle your email addresses until the one you want for your Primary email is in place. This involved, for me, logging out and then back in and answering my security questions before I could begin to do this. Take courage and try!

Try logging out completely, then logging in to your account and changing your security questions to something you will remember.
