I purchased the wrong app on my ipad - how do i get a credit?

No problem. It's rather simple. Let's get you started by clicking this URL:

on this page you will find step by step directions to get you there. You need to know the purchase order number so go to your old purchase history. Read the below and click on the blue words purchase history:

"On a computer with iTunes installed, click purchase history to have iTunes open and display your purchase history. You will be prompted for your Apple ID and password."....

Now copy the item's number in question and just send them to support. You'll read this article at the bottom of the page on how to do that and here it is for you:

Additional Information

You receive an invoice by email each time your credit card is charged. An invoice is sent approximately every $20 or 12 hours, whichever occurs first. The Web Order Number also appears in the email invoice, as shown above.

For additional assistance contact iTunes Store Support.
