iTunes Customer Service Contact - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html - Apple states all sales are final, but you can ask.
Hi kcleonard
No problem. It's rather simple. Let's get you started by clicking this URL:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2727
on this page you will find step by step directions to get you there. You need to know the purchase order number so go to your old purchase history. Read the below and click on the blue words purchase history:
------------------------------------------------------------
"On a computer with iTunes installed, click purchase history to have iTunes open and display your purchase history. You will be prompted for your Apple ID and password."....
------------------------------------------------------------
Now copy the item's number in question and just send them to support. You'll read this article at the bottom of the page on how to do that and here it is for you:
------------------------------------------------------------
Additional Information
You receive an invoice by email each time your credit card is charged. An invoice is sent approximately every $20 or 12 hours, whichever occurs first. The Web Order Number also appears in the email invoice, as shown above.
For additional assistance contact iTunes Store Support.
------------------------------------------------------------
So click on the blue words above iTunes Support and follow the directions.
If you get confused remember to go the first URL I gave to you which was:
and follow the step by step directions on that page. See not so bad and Apple's support is unbelievablely professional and extremely fast. Good Luck.

That's a good link for finding the history of what you have purchased. Sales are officially final though, and getting a refund is not guaranteed. Apple seems to be fairly lenient for some mistakes but not so with repeat cases so it is best to make sure you are certain before purchasing.
That's true. If you have a history of repeating mistakes any company would give the buyer a "second look over" The best advise would be take your time purchasing and eliminate usesless mistakes at the beginning!
