mt ipod touch 2nd generation wont connect to any blue tooth i have for ex: motoralra bluetooth i want to make calls on the app talkatone
If you read the link I gave you, you will see that this is not a feature of bluetooth on the ipod touch 2nd gen.
The iPod only supports the
Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) | Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) |
for headphones. If you are using a headset (includes mic), those typically use the hands free profile (HFP) which the 2G does not support.
ok thant what brand would you suggest and posibly a price thanks
What brand for what?
ok than how do i make calls on the app talkatone on my ipod touch 2nd gen
To my knowledge you may not be able to find one. The iPod sends audio vie the ASDP profile but mics in headsets typically use the hands free profile which the 3G and earlier do not support.
So, I have a 2G touch, and I just recently bought the Jaybird Freedom earbuds. I'm not interested in any of the talk function when I'm using it...but when I connect/pair the two, the connectivity is shaky at best and drops almost immediately after I start playing music.
The JF3 specs are:
Bluetooth Version: V2.1 + EDR
Profile: A2DP, AVRCP (it also mentions Headset, handsfree)
Is there some sort of conflict here that I'm not understanding?
