Hi, I open launchpad and it has lots of apps in it, can you help me unpin apps from launchpad, thanks.
You can not remove apps from the launchpad. It's purpose IS to create a GUI where all apps appear. You can move them arround to give them priority. I move unwanted apps to the second page.
If you mean the Dock, right click and select Options.
As Gerry said you cannot remove them from Launchpad, but you can rearrage them - just like on an iPhone or iPad.
Click and hold down the mouse button on an icon. All the icons will start to jiggle and you can then drag them around. Drag one app on top of another and it will create a folder.

And guess what? When those icons jiggle, some of them have an 'X' in the upper left corner which allows one to delete it. Only App Store apps can be deleted.

Just to be clear, the apps will be deleted from your computer not just removed from Launch Pad.
Of course they can easily be re-downloaded from the App Store.
