Again - trying to solve system overload issue.

LE8 Works (No System Overload messages) on this:

Model: Power PC G5

Age: About 7 Years old

Processor: Dual 2Ghz

RAM: 5 GB DDR Ram

(Note: I will see the occassional overload message sometimes at the start of a track but I typically just start the timeline over and it works finr EVERY TIME)

It won't work at all on:

Model: MacBook Pro

Age: 5 Year old

Processor: 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo

RAM: 6GB RAM

(Note: Constant overload every time at the beginning of every track)

or this...

Model: MacBook Pro

Age: 1 Year old

Processor: 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i7

RAM: 8GB 1333 Mhz DDR3

(Note: Constant overload every time at the beginning of every track)

Anyone know why?

Try increasing your buffer size... when in Logic Pro use Command + , go to the "Audio" tab and try using "1024" as your I/O Buffer Size. If your condition still prooves no improovement then let me in on the following infos....

Whats your Project Sample Rate? I/O Buffer Size? how many tracks you got on your project? How many are Audio? how many are Midi? Any 3rd party inserts enabled?

Again - trying to solve system overload issue.
