May 22, 2012 3:18 AM in response to Victor1977by Avis123,Can't find hotspot 'again' indicates that you were having the personal hotspot option before.?
Try to restart the phone and try to reseat the SIM card, hotspot feature is predominantly dependent on carrier. In case you don't see it again, try reset network settings.

Oct 15, 2014 8:34 PM in response to Avis123by clwheestro,I have the iPhone 6 with 8.0.2 and I have tried every suggestion here and the personal hotspot is nowhere to be found. Any suggestions? Also, sometimes the phone automatically mutes the sound without me touching it. Is there a solution to that, as well?

Oct 15, 2014 8:53 PM in response to clwheestroby Nick_Nestor,The personal hotspot settings panel will appear under the Bluetooth, WiFi, and cellular ones. If it isn't visible there, go into the cellular panel and there will be an option there for personal hotspot, even if your carrier hasn't enabled it on your account. There it will suggest calling your carrier, or if the function is valid on your account, turning it on and off should make it reappear where it belongs on the main settings screen.
