Nov 11, 2012 8:18 AM in response to carocuthby anna298,That's very unfortunate. However, I suggest you contact Amazon Customer Service. They are very accomodating and may have a resolution for you. If no resolution is available they will take your comments under advisement which they do act on. It might take a little time but it's worth the effort. This is the only way Apple will begin to respect and support their customers.

Nov 11, 2012 8:38 AM in response to anna298by carocuth,I did just that and they assured me that they would pass my request along. I can't imagine what would make this such a difficult issue either for Amazon.com or Amazon.ca.

Nov 11, 2012 8:41 AM in response to anna298by rsx50,You are free to enjoy Amazon and Samsung. However if you dislike Apple as much as you profess, why not go to their forums and leave the rest of us in peace?

Nov 11, 2012 8:47 AM in response to rsx50by anna298,I'm surprised. They seem to be
very proactive and innovative so it's frankly puzzling why they would drag their feet on this. I wonder if there is some governmental regulation that is preventing this?

Nov 11, 2012 8:49 AM in response to rsx50by anna298,Because I paid hundreds of dollars for their products and have a right to complain when I don't get what I paid for. I will continue to do so when I think it's warranted.

Nov 11, 2012 10:17 AM in response to anna298by rsx50,So, you will kindly forgive me if I log out of this thread, which interested me initially but has now become a gripe and whining session, the since Apple experts have actually fixed the problem.
Bye now.

Nov 11, 2012 10:30 AM in response to rsx50by vincentfromwestford,Well to be fair, I still have an open call on this issue (thou I switched DNS server long ago). Ideally Apple would say, problem solved, close the ticket, ... so whine, ya that is a benifit of being a customer.

Oct 1, 2013 4:56 AM in response to carocuthby JDHaviland,Don't get too happy. I am now running 11.1.0.126, and am having all previews cut off about half to three quarters through, so it is still a problem in my books.

Oct 1, 2013 5:03 AM in response to JDHavilandby vincentfromwestford,The call I opened is still open in my eyes, they passed me 5 free songs, ... said they would keep the line of communication open. SInce (~ 1 year?) I have heard nothing, not gotten email updates to this thread (until this morning), ... VERY SAD! I have not had the problem since making the DNS change, although I think I recently installed a new version and I am not sure if I checked after that. I will check and chime in again. SAD SAD SAD!!!

Oct 1, 2013 5:22 AM in response to vincentfromwestfordby JDHaviland,Yes, very sad; however, very typical of Apple. (Don't even get me started on iOS7 and all its headaches.) I remember when Apple actually tried, but not anymore. One album I bought a few months ago had noise in the first track. I reported it, was given a credit and told they would look into it. They didn't say which decade that would happen, because the problem is still there.

May 4, 2015 3:18 PM in response to MSSheridanby NiWidow,FLUSH DNS - This won't impact anything, it's resetting part of Windows and takes a second:
The first step to flushing your DNS, is to open your “Windows Command” prompt.
- WinXP: Start, Run and then type “cmd” and press Enter.
- Vista and Window 7: Click Start and type the word “Command” in the Start search field. ...
- In the open prompt, type “ipconfig /flushdns” (without the quotes)
