The last series of G4 powerbooks was using PC2700 (333Mhz) DDR SDRAM, so that DDR2 RAM is not going to work.

May 22, 2012 3:39 PM in response to Leo Earleby Texas Mac Man,OS X is picky about RAM quality. Most PC RAM of the exact model number as a Mac requires, will frequently kernal panic in a Mac. PC RAM is cheap, cheap.
