Why won't HP B209a-m connect wth Airport Extreme?

I have home network wth macbook pro running snow leopard and mac mini running lion. Internet is cable modem into the macbook. I have an Hp Photosmart B209a-m that was running wirelessly with a netgear router. I just discarded the netgear and installed an Airport Extreme. The HP will not connect to the new router. I reset the printer to factory configuration, shut the whole system down and restarted. All my other equipment works with no problem with apple extreme. Suggestions?
