driver for Fujitsu fi6110 scanner

I have just purchased a Macbook Air and would like to use it with my Fujitsu fi6110 scanner. Fujitsu does not have a driver for this scanner so I was wondering if anyone has experience with this. Fujitsu suggested asking Apple or trying ScanTango. They have a program that is compatible with the scanner for $99 but it is not as good (to me) as Adobe scan program on my PC. Any thoughts?

once it is scanned, make sure it is saved as a Pdf.

or like i said you can try the other software that i linked for you.

You could always use Image Capture which is in your applications folder

How does that work? Does it create a PDF? I am so new at this Mac business-I have used PCs for the past 30 years-but I need the scanner for bringing PDFs for electronic medical records. Thanks
